Adopted adults, age 18, the adopted adult's family and the adoptive parents or legal guardian of an adopted adult can petition the court for non-identifying information of the biological parents. Identifying information may be provided through an Adoption Registry. Adoptees must petition the court in which the adoption was finalize to obtain an original birth certificate.

The following are allowed to use the registry:

  • Adopted adults
  • Adoptive parents or guardian if the adoptee is under 18 or deceased
  • Birth siblings, 18 years of age and older
  • Birth Parents
