It was developed for adult adoptees and individuals who have been separated from birth family members through the Termination of Parental Rights proceedings. This registry allows individuals and their birth family relatives to indicate whether or not they are willing to have their identity and whereabouts disclosed to adoptees or birth family members. If an adoptee and a birth family member both register, a match is indicated so that the two can be reunited. This also applies to those individual and their relatives who have been separated by a Termination of Parental Rights proceedings. If you or a relative were placed for adoption in Oklahoma, you may register in The Mutual Consent Voluntary Registry. You may also register if you were separated from a birth family member as a result of the Termination of Parental Rights proceedings. If you have registered, you may have access to the names and contact information of relatives, as well as other identifying information. You are allowed to make contact at your own personal discretion. |
