Adult adoptees, 21 or older, birth parents, birth siblings, adoptive parents of a deceased adopted adults and parents and siblings of a deceased birth parent can request non-identifying information. An adoptee must petition the court in which the adoption was finalized for an original birth certificate.

Identifying information is provided through the Adoption Registry. The following people may use the adoption registry:

• Adopted adults
• Birth parents
• Birth siblings
• Adoptive parents of a deceased adopted adult
• Parents of a deceased birth parent
• Adult siblings of a deceased birth parent

One hour of counseling is required. Adoption registry requires a $25 registration fee.
