Wyoming adoption records can be located and opened using the following instructions. Adult adoptees may receive non-identifying information of their birth parents in Wyoming. To open sealed adoption records, adult adoptees may be required to obtain a court order. This is due to the sensitive nature of the information that these files usually contain. Most states allow non-identifying information to be released to adoptees for medical purposes. Sealed files are often more difficult to open and obtain. |
