Missouri Vital Records Search Information

The Missouri State office carries vital records dating back to January of 1910.  You can obtain most certified copies of death and birth records through the local county health department or the Kansas City or St. Louis Health Departments.  You can retrieve details by contacting these departments directly.  If an event occurred before 1910 in St. Louis County, Kansas City, or St. Louis City, you can contact the city or county health department.  Kansas City Missouri charges a fee of $6.00 for the first order and $3.00 for each copy that is ordered at the same time.  You can obtain computer issued copies of state certification for $10 each.
