Birth and death records were kept by the probate court of each Ohio county between 1867 and December 20, 1908. These Ohio vital records are not included in the statewide index. Certified copies of Ohio marriage licenses are available through the Probate Court in the county in which the license was issued. Certified copies of divorce records are available through the Clerk of Common Pleas in the county where the Ohio divorce was granted. |
